About This Project

We carried out the re-furbishment of the 2nd floor and ground floor areas of the Fulton Building at Dundee University. Dali-dimmable LED luminaires were controlled by a Flex Connectors lighting control system, linking presence detectors, absence detectors and scene setting units to lighting control modules and control panels via bus-cabling. A Fastell P4 emergency lighting control system was installed and supplied from an Mweb controller to allow the client to monitor each individual emergency luminaire from a central PC. Power supplies were installed from new three phase distribution boards to air curtains, powered door openers, fan coil units with contactor controls, external condensers and ventilation equipment. Dado trunking was installed at low level to contain local small power and data installations. The existing fire alarm, access control, disabled refuge and security alarm systems were altered and extended throughout the building to suit the new layout.
