Textile Machine Supplies

We installed an 11KV circuit breaker to protect a 350mt run of HV cable, supplying a new 2.5MVA transformer. This transformer supplied a 4000A cubicle switchboard which in turn supplied a large textile machine. 630mm single core AWA sub-main cables were installed from the transformer to the switchboard and external earth fields were created via copper earth spikes and bonding tape. Ladder rack containment was installed from the switchboard to the textile machine with over 5000mt of sub-mains cables installed from switch fuse units to supply various control panels throughout the machine. We installed and terminated control cables from the various panels to motors, isolators, limit switches and emergency stop equipment, working for and closely with the machine installation engineers. We worked to a tight time frame and ensured that the programme was adhered to and completed on time.
