About This Project

We carried out the upgrade and refurbishment of the ground floor laboratories and lecture theatre of the Fulton Building at Dundee University. Dali-dimmable LED luminaires were controlled by a Flex Connectors lighting control system, linking presence detectors, absence detectors and scene setting units to lighting control modules and control panels via bus-cabling. A Fastell P4 emergency lighting control system was installed and supplied from Mweb controllers to allow the client to monitor individual emergency luminaires. Power supplies were installed from new three phase distribution boards to single phase and three phase distribution and ventilation equipment. Metal dado trunking was installed at low level to contain local small power and data installations. The existing fire alarm, access control and security alarm systems were altered, amended and extended throughout the building to suit the new layout.
